The “Al Buraimi Summer 2026” activities officially commenced on Thursday evening at Al Buraimi Oasis. Organized by Al Buraimi Governorate, the four-week summer program runs from 23 July to 22 August and takes place every weekend (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering a wide range of activities designed to engage all segments of the community.The program features a variety of recreational and cultural activities spread across the oasis, including cartoon character performances, a soap football arena, a children's theatre offering competitions and prizes, traditional arts performances, as well as participation from productive families and a range of retail kiosks, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for the entire family.Mr. Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Farsi from the Events and Awareness Department at Al Buraimi Municipality stated that Al Buraimi Summer 2026 builds on the governorate’s ongoing efforts to deliver high-quality community programs that energize public life and make the best use of public spaces as vibrant destinations during the summer season. He noted that the program has been designed to offer refreshed content each week, ensuring a diverse experience that caters to the interests of different age groups.He added that the activities extend beyond entertainment to include dedicated spaces supporting productive families and small business owners, while also showcasing traditional arts and cultural heritage. These elements reflect the governorate’s identity and strengthen its position as an attractive destination for visitors. He emphasized that the diversity of programs and participants will provide oasis visitors with a well-rounded experience that combines entertainment, shopping, and community engagement in one destination.
